What is it?

A case study outlining details of a ‘Connecting People Remotely’ assistive technology (AT) pilot undertaken by Hackney and funded by LOTI. This easily digestible summary includes details of the user need being addressed, the desired outcome, the technology used, the costs and lessons learned.

Why did we create it?

To help improve boroughs’ understanding of the role and effectiveness of tablet devices in connecting isolated residents and thereby reducing social isolation, particularly during Covid lockdown.
