LOTI outcomes-based methodology
What is it?
This slide deck outlines and explains LOTI’s outcomes-based methodology; an extension of the Design Council’s double diamond approach.
Why have we created it?
LOTI was set up to achieve real-world service improvements and outcomes for Londoners. We use this methodology to ensure we always start projects with the end in mind. It also builds in explicit reminders to consider the cultural, process and people aspects of any given challenge and set of solutions as well as the role of technology and data. This article explains why it’s so important for collaborative projects in particular.
Who should use it?
All LOTI projects use this methodology or its sister Outcomes-Based Methodology for Data Projects. We warmly encourage its use by teams across local government who are aiming to achieve outcomes in an uncertain environment.View the methodology
